Return & Exchange Policy

If the item you receive is incorrect, defective, or damaged during shipping, we offer return and exchange services.

 

How to Request a Return or Exchange:

If the product is damaged or the packaging is incomplete due to shipping, please report it to the delivery personnel immediately and take photos as evidence to protect your rights. If no claim is made within 7 days of receiving the item, we will not accept returns or exchanges.
Please send photos of the defective item to sixpence.gallery@gmail.com. We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement as soon as possible.

・Return Procedure
The item must be kept in the same condition as when it was delivered (including the product, accessories, manuals, warranty cards, packaging box, and packing slip). Please pack it properly and send it back to our designated return address using the specified method. Once we receive the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange.

・Exchange Procedure
If the item you receive is defective or damaged, please notify us immediately and send it back as soon as possible. Once we receive the returned item, we will process the exchange within approximately 1–3 business days.

・Refund Method
After we receive the returned item, we will process your refund within approximately 2–4 business days (excluding store holidays).
Credit card: The amount will be refunded by the original card-issuing bank. Most credit card refunds take about 1–7 business days.
Bank transfer: For refunds, please provide your bank account details via email or private message. For banks other than Cathay United Bank, a handling fee of NT$15 will be deducted from the refund.
PayPal: The refund will be returned to the original PayPal account used for payment. Platform handling fees will be deducted, and the actual refund amount will be calculated according to PayPal’s rules.


Notes:

・Books
If you receive a defective book, please provide photos for our assessment. Customers who are particular about book condition may contact us after purchase to request detailed photos or videos, or visit our physical store to buy in person.

・Artworks
Artworks are special items. Due to their age, materials, and creative techniques, it may be difficult to define a “brand-new” condition. Natural brushstrokes along the edges of a painting or traces of handling are part of the creative process and are not considered defects. Please understand the nature of original artworks before purchasing. If you wish to confirm the condition of an artwork, you may contact us for detailed photos or videos, or visit our physical store to view it before buying. By completing your purchase, you are deemed to accept the condition of the work. We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as “not as expected” or other issues not attributable to us.


Additional Terms:

The 7-day appreciation period is not a trial period, so returned items must be in brand-new condition. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted in the following cases:
(1) The return/exchange period has expired
(2) The product has been opened or used
(3) The product is not in its original condition, is damaged or incomplete, or any free gifts or accessories are missing
(4) Auction items
(5) Lottery/raffle sale items
(6) Made-to-order items
(7) Customized items
(8) Malicious or bulk returns
