Works exhibited at the 2025 Hachikan Nanako solo exhibition "Flower Temperature"
|Work Introduction|
Title: Eve's Springfield
Media: Gouache on canvas
Size: 53×45×3cm
Year of production: 2025
This work was inspired by mythology, hoping to express the warmth of spring while incorporating contrasting themes.
The painting depicts the spring wilderness based on the warm and peaceful paradise in the story of Adam and Eve, and also includes a scene of the devil that tempted Eve - the snake crawling on the ground.
While showing the warmth and comfort of spring, it also adds some exciting elements that make people think of an uneasy ending.

|Exhibition Introduction|
Flower Temperature is inspired by the artist Nanako Hachikan’s brief life in Tainan, capturing the city’s unique climate and style through delicate brushstrokes. Tainan’s flower fences, tiles and decorations, as well as the freshness and warmth brought by the southern breeze, weave together a poetic visual language.
